GUIDELINES TO ENHANCE YOUR SAFETY & SECURITY

  • In case you plan to lock up your house and leave town for a few days, inform your neighbours and also your nearest police station or police post.

  • In case you plan to employ some outsider, please bring his details along with his photograph to the nearest police station or police post and get his character and antecedents verified.

  • Please obey traffic rules and help us to regulate the traffic.  In case you have any complaint with regard to the behaviour of any traffic staff, do not get into an argument, simply note the name of the concerned police officer  and meet any gazetted officer for further assistance.

  • Secure your vehicle properly at night.  Installation of an anti-theft alarm is highly recommended.  In case your vehicle is stolen, report the matter immediately to the nearest police station or police post.

  • Inform the police about any suspicious happening or unclaimed object found in suspicious circumstances. Extend full cooperation to the police.

  • In case any crime occurs in your neighbourhood, please ensure that the crime scene is not disturbed till the arrival of the police team.

  • After arriving in India, every foreigner should register  with the concerned Foreigner's Registration Officer within a period of 14 days. However, a foreign citizen visiting India on a tourist visa and intending to stay in India for a period of 180 days or less, does not need to get registered.

  • All foreign visitors checking into hotels or guest houses must insist on filling up 'Form - C' at the reception counter.
