leave town for a few days, inform your neighbours and also your
nearest police station or police post.

please bring his details along with his photograph to the
nearest police station or police post and get his character and
antecedents verified.

Please obey traffic rules and help us to
regulate the traffic. In case you have any complaint with
regard to the behaviour of any traffic staff, do not get into
an argument, simply note the name of the concerned police
officer and meet any gazetted officer for further
assistance.

Secure your vehicle properly at night.
Installation of an anti-theft alarm is highly recommended.
In case your vehicle is stolen, report the matter immediately
to the nearest police station or police post.

Inform the police about any suspicious
happening or unclaimed object found in suspicious
circumstances. Extend full cooperation to the police.

In case any crime occurs in your neighbourhood,
please ensure that the crime scene is not disturbed till the
arrival of the police team.

After arriving in India, every foreigner should
register with the concerned Foreigner's
Registration Officer within a period of 14 days.
However, a foreign citizen visiting India on a tourist
visa and intending to stay in India for a period of 180
days or less, does not need to get registered.

All foreign visitors checking into hotels or
guest houses must insist on filling up 'Form - C' at the
reception counter.
